The past couple of years have been spent serving as Baptist Bible Fellowship International Missionaries in the country of the Philippines. We arrived with our 4 incredible children (Jared, Sarah, Rachel, and Jonah) March 2007 for what we thought would be until the Lord would take us home...our heavenly home. He had other plans for us and has indeed called us back "home" to serve in the US. While that chapter of our ministry has closed, it remains our deepest desire to share the love of Christ with the people around us, to introduce others to a wonderful Savior. God has called us to His service and, through our frailties, we faithfully follow His leading. We know that His purposes and strengths go beyond our comprehension and abilities...so we trust and ask Him to "lead on".
The purpose of this blog is to allow others to connect with us personally. To join us on a journey that sometimes proved to be difficult, but always rewarding! To share in our blessings, our disappointments, and our humor. We want mostly to demonstrate through our stories that God is amazing and what's more, He chooses to use just us ordinary people for His work.
